
Joints & Glands 🌿
Joints & Glands is our most therapeutic class and one of the best places to begin if you're new to yoga, returning after time away, or simply looking for a gentle and rejuvenating practice. Developed by Himalayan yoga masters, this unique system focuses less on traditional yoga postures and more on mobility, circulation, joint health, spinal wellness, and functional movement for everyday life.
Through simple movements such as arm swings, leg swings, joint rotations, gentle spinal movements, and mindful breathing, you'll improve mobility, coordination, balance, and overall wellbeing. We use the wall for support when needed and incorporate props such as stools, bolsters, blankets, and blocks to make the practice accessible and comfortable for nearly everyone. Students only move up and down from the floor twice during class.
Many students leave feeling refreshed, energized, more mobile, and better equipped for daily activities like bending, reaching, lifting, walking, and getting up and down from the floor. Whether your goal is to feel better, move better, or simply enjoy a calming and healing hour, Joints & Glands offers a wonderful place to begin.
This class is taught by owner Nichole Falco on Thursdays and a great class if you are new to yoga.
